Responsible Use of Generative AI ​

Due to the nature of generative AI, regulations vary across countries. All users must comply with the laws and regulations of their jurisdiction. Our platform strictly prohibits using the API to directly provide products or services to end users within mainland China. All interfaces on this platform are intended solely for individual or team use in product prototyping, proof-of-concept (PoC), personal testing, and other experimental or learning applications.

Any use that violates the OpenAI-HK Acceptable Use Policy — including but not limited to uses prohibited by law, regulation, government order, or decree, or any use that infringes on the rights of others — is the sole responsibility of the user. We are not liable for any issues arising from customer use.

Content Requirements ​

Ensuring platform security is key to long-term stable operation. It is prohibited to use the model services we provide to generate content that may cause harm to individuals or society. Any account found generating or using prohibited content through the platform will be immediately banned, with no refund of remaining credits.

Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:

Exploitation and Abuse

Content that describes, displays, or promotes the sexual exploitation or sexual abuse of minors, regardless of whether it is prohibited by law. This includes content involving or sexualizing children.

Content that describes or is used to groom children. Grooming refers to adults building relationships with children for the purpose of exploitation, particularly sexual exploitation. This includes communicating with children for the purpose of sexual exploitation, trafficking, or other forms of exploitation.

Non-Consensual Intimate Content

Content that describes, provides, or promotes non-consensual intimate activities.

Content that describes, features, promotes, or is used to solicit commercial sexual activities and services. This includes encouraging and facilitating actual sexual activity.

Content that describes or is used for human trafficking purposes. This includes recruiting individuals, facilitating transportation, payment, and enabling the exploitation of people, such as forced labor, domestic servitude, forced marriage, and forced medical procedures.

Suicide and self-harm: content that describes, glorifies, supports, promotes, beautifies, encourages, and/or instructs individuals to self-harm or commit suicide.

Violent Content and Behavior

Content that describes, displays, or promotes graphic violence or gore.

Content that depicts terrorist acts; praises or supports terrorist organizations, terrorists, or violent extremist ideologies; encourages terrorist activities; provides assistance to terrorist organizations or causes; or assists terrorist organizations in recruiting members.

Content that advocates or promotes violence against others through violent threats or incitement.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that attacks, disparages, intimidates, degrades, targets, or excludes individuals or groups based on actual or perceived race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, caste, or any other characteristic associated with systemic bias or marginalization.

Content that uses threatening, intimidating, insulting, demeaning, or degrading language or imagery toward individuals or groups, or that promotes physical harm or other abusive behavior (such as stalking).

Content that is intentionally deceptive and may have an adverse impact on the public interest, including deceptive or false content related to health, safety, election integrity, or civic participation.

Content that directly supports illegal active attacks or causes technical harm through malicious software activities, such as providing malicious executables, organizing denial-of-service attacks, or managing command-and-control servers.

Prohibited by the Service

1) Endangering national security, leaking state secrets, subverting state power, or undermining national unity;

2) Damaging national honor and interests;

3) Distorting, vilifying, desecrating, or denying the deeds and spirit of heroic figures, or infringing upon the names, likenesses, reputations, or honors of martyrs and heroes through insult, defamation, or other means;

4) Promoting terrorism or extremism, or inciting terrorist or extremist activities;

5) Inciting ethnic hatred or ethnic discrimination, or undermining ethnic unity;

6) Undermining national religious policies, or promoting cults and feudal superstitions;

7) Spreading rumors that disrupt economic or social order;

8) Spreading obscene, pornographic, gambling, violent, murderous, or terrorist content, or content that instigates criminal activity;

9) Insulting or defaming others, or infringing upon others' reputations, privacy, or other lawful rights and interests;

10) Containing false, harmful, threatening, privacy-infringing, harassing, infringing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise morally objectionable content;

11) Any other content restricted or prohibited by local laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, or any other legally binding norms.
